they just didn't allow this on their campus, and they paid for it. the school should be held financially responsable for the shooting. if they say you can't defend yourself on campus, they are completly liable

Re: virginia tech???
what colleges across the US allow their students to carry weapons? i'm curious to know.
maybe they should just let people smoke crack and meth legally, that way the rates of those drugs being sold and used will go down like guns do.

Your comparison has absolutely no relevance to our argument. holy ----.
As far as the legalization of drugs... they should do it. The price of drugs would plummet, and the united states government could make some nice money on taxing drug dealers.
But they(the us government) already make enough money pushing drugs... so that will never happen.
Gotta wonder about the war on drugs.. when 11 metric tons of cocaine are seized in a raid.. and the street price of coke doesn't rise....

i'm asking how many colleges across the US allow people to carry weapons on campus? that's plain english right there.
you're arguing that if students of faculty were allowed to carry guns, the percentage of this type of incident happening would decrease, correct?
so the relevancy would be that since
if your state would allow people to smoke meth legally, that arizona wouldn't be the meth capital of the US.

i'm not against guns at all. i think that if you have training and the license to carry, you should be allowed. however, most college students aren't mature enough to handle the responsibilty, therefore its not allowed.

we have the constitutional right to keep and bear arms and that shall not be infringed.
college students ARE ADULTS. if they were raised right they woulud be mature enough to handle a firearm. college students ARE NOT KIDS.

lol... way to bring a completely different argument into the thing.
I'll justify you with one response...
it is illegal for anyone to have a controlled substance or drug of that nature.
The second amendment guarantees that all citizens can carry guns.
... gee.
