Training or not, these are still early 20's gun-ho college students who are drunk more than half the time. Sure maybe only 10% of college students that are issued a permit to carry may be like this, but it only takes one person to kill many others.

I've seen first hand what a 21 year old college student who had a permit to carry can do. He was a member of Sigma Nu last year when I rushed. He got drunk as hell, some guy was just talking with his girlfriend. They went outside to "talk," and the other guy ended up face first into the concrete with a gun pointed at his head. Lucky there were about 9 other guys there, all bigger than he to help calm him down.

Hahahahaha! Ok Dr. Phil. Your so self rightousness that I doubt even you believe your own bullshit. I don’t fear of loosing ----. I have gained it lost it and gained it back. I know whats its like to have it and loose it. Its fun getting it back and I welcome the challenge. Don’t act like you know me or what I'm about because you don’t know ----. Keep living in your fairy filled reality where people greet you with smiles at every corner. I'll keep packing my gun with me every moring and enjoying all my material possesions as I happily go through life.

Fixed.

I could just as easily kill you with a hammer... Should we ban those too?

You realize that more people die of intentional vehicle misuse than guns every year right? Should we ban those too?

I've seen the same, so I can agree. I do believe they are still being denied their constitutional rights. Still doesn't change the fact that the faculty could be armed.

A security guard will respond quickly.. but probably not as quickly as a teacher in the classroom who is armed.. or a teacher from an adjacent classroom.

As everyone should be. This isn't some fairytale, and some mystical being is going to be there to protect us when someone else would like to deny us our lives. I worked my *** off to not be poor, and to have nice things to enjoy. I'll be damned if I'm going to let someone take what I've achieved and destroy my life and my legacy.

In America we have the freedom to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. I'll be damned if anyone is going to deny me any of that.

You cant explain that to a bitter virgen with no life. You have to have possesions to be protective of them. People like you I and take pride in what we have and are willing to defend it from being taken. Some one who is given things or has nothing would know nothing about pride of ownership.

Well I understand where he's coming from.. as it seems as though he's a passifist(sp?).

But I don't believe that he should be able to inflict his point of views on everyone who believes otherwise. Nor do I believe that we should be able to impose our views on them. But we can't change the fact that guns and violence already exist. And we can't make people be nicer, and not homocidal.

A compromise would be best.. but neither side will ever back down from their vision of a "perfect world".
