Isn't it ironic that the people that dislike them are the ones that see them breaking every day and the ones that shoot down the outrageous claims like the gas mileage are the people that actually have first hand experience with the cars. Meanwhile, the magazine racers with zero real experience continue to hype them up.

So about that resale value issue....

resale value is a ricer crutch. you shouldn't buy a car to make profit out of it afterwards. unless there is a certain situation.

do you plan on making a mint of your busted *** DSM because the resale value is so good? cars that don't have 2nd don't tend to bring in a lot of dough.

you can't compare a 1300cc rocket with about 200whp at about 400lbs with a 500hp car at about 2000lbs.
that corvette was fast but the bike is quicker, I was watching how fast the corvette was accelerating though. but it would definately got the bike at top end.
I don't think a bugatti would have pulled on that rocket. so it was a missed matched race

check the retail price on a malibu compared to a lexus and see why the depreciation is more

they are much cheaper to begin with...

ive gotten 31mpg in my ls1 camaro cruising at 70mph from seattle to portland without stopping...

i get about 25mpg, with MULTIPAL wot trips daily... and driving 50/50 highway city.

lets recap.

*stock

290-320hp at the wheels
310-330ft-lbs at the wheels

mid 20smpg raped daily driving city/highway

damn i sure miss that integra... which i got 27mpg turbocharged... and was slower than my camaro was stock... but hey the resale value was a better percentage of the initall cost 20 years down the road
.

hope it was worth all the times i lost to stock LT1 automatic camaros
