----, I get ~14 in the city and ~18-20 on the highway in the Jeep. It seems to get about 14.7 average no matter what I do.

Even if I drove a Kia the Z06 is still shitty. What difference does my personal vehicle have to do with the crappiness of another vehicle? I bet if people actually drove those Vettes like something other than the 65 year old grandpas they are, they would fall to pieces in a matter of weeks. Just like everything else produced by GM.

I just dont see how you can call the zo6 shitty, its a great car for the price and performance you get. No car is without its flaws. i.e. your drivetrain, or my 10 bolt rear end. Its just what flaw would you rather deal with and weighing out the cost and gains. The Z06 is a nicely designed car with a good engine in stock form.

I dont understand why anyone would be concerned with gas milage? Is this a feul ecomony website? Or a 'lets make as much power as we can' type of website. You wanna make power? Okay, then the give is your gas milage. Is it worth it? In every ------- way.

It's not shitty at all. The motor is laughably outdated and the power output is retardedly low for the displacement, but that's to be expected for the price. It's still a fast car. I have no problem with the car, I have a problem with the GM nut swingers that think because GM uses OHV engines they must be the greatest thing in the world, or because they don't have the financial strength to retire that outdated piece of ---- LSx it must be the greatest engine ever created, or that because the Chevy small block has been around since the dawn of time it MUST be the only way to go fast, or because the only Hondas in their area are riced out D15's then there MUST not be a fast 4 cylinder in existance. The very fact that this retard thinks his almighty 103mph Z28 would smoke my 120+mph car and also thinks he smokes LS2 GTO's that go ultra low 13's at 108-110mph stock is proof that all these traits and ideas are deeply rooted in the moronic heads of dumbestic lovin' 'Merica. They're so far out of touch with reality it's laughable.

Retard DUMBestic fan boi likes to hype up dumbestics so I like to give him exactly the dumbestic hate responses he's looking for. His termendously ignorant and out of touch with reality comments about imports deserve some equal dumestic hate in return. It's because of people like him that dumbestic owners are so hated in the import community. It's even more laughable when he starts calling people on this site "ricers" when they have cars that run 2+ seconds faster than his mid 13 second, low single digit 100's mph pile of ----.

No doubt, aren't all domestics low poweroutput per displacement? Thats not what matters though. What matter is power to weight. If i had a 10 liter engine and it made 500hp, and i beat a car with a smaller engine but more hp/l. Who wins in the end? Its not about this per that or that per this, what really matters is who won. The ohv is a tried and true method. Might not be the best technology by todays standards but who really cares? It does what it does by any way possible.

No one disagreed with that. The issues begins when Billy Bob dumbestic lover starts claiming that OHV engines and off idle torque rule the world. When I see either of those things in an F1 car or a street bike, then I'll give them a second look.
