------ AWDstyles makes me ashamed of driving a japanese car. god dammit i hate it when people call it dumbestics. sounds like a ------- 15 yr old. now a days theres really no import/domestic blah blah. im gonna go out and buy a nissan titan...its a nissan. it must me an import(btw. the word import refers to the product actually being made top to bottom in another country and shipped to your residing country.) anyways.....must be an import, its a nissan.....well its assembled top to bottom about 3 hours away from me. or how bout this....in 2 years im going to buy a toyota highlander.....its a toyota....it must be an import.....nope, assembly plant is being built 20 minutes away from me. next time you refer to your car as an import.....check the original sticker on the car......is there any sort of importation tax, was it actually built in japan(COMPLETELY). or just pre-assembled, shipped here, then finally assembled by mexicans in a US plant.

as an avid honda guy, i generally respect any car, from kia to aston martin. yes, the 4v motors in most hondas and other like cars are amazing for what they can do. but theres only so much a midget can do in the high jump competition. ancient technology in these cars are irrelevent. they still outperform your car in stock form. i could give 2 ***** if your car can beat RS's camaro....dont get me wrong, i root for the underdog...but that ls1 is stock. and it took 15+psi(low estimate) and AWD for that to happen.

ps. you suck at life because you are the type of person that gives imports(specifically mitsu's) a bad name.

J.D. Power and Associates Reports:
Toyota Motor Sales Captures Top Corporate Ranking in Vehicle Dependability
While Toyota and Honda Continue to Dominate

The presence of several non-luxury brands among the top-ranking brands in the industry further underscores the shrinking dependability gap between luxury and non-luxury brands. While Lexus is the top-ranking brand in vehicle dependability for a 12th consecutive year.

Lexus, Toyota and Honda models dominate the segment rankings. Lexus models lead in four segments: GS 300/GS 430 (midsize premium car), LS 430 (large premium car), SC 430 (premium sporty car) and GX 470 (midsize premium MAV). Four Toyota models also lead in their respective segments: Echo (sub-compact car), RAV4 (compact MAV), Highlander (midsize MAV) and Tundra (large pickup). Honda models rank highest in three segments: Civic (compact car), S2000 (compact premium sporty car) and Odyssey (van).

It's impossible to give Mitsu's a worse name than they already have.

the reason why they have as bad a name as they do is because of the close minded people that generally represent the car. not all of them, but most of them.

awd styles has no arguement other than his opinion that "domestic" cars suck

i think i proved my point. go find some sweet japanese innovations. hey i think they do have one, first car you're almost guaranteed to die in in a 35mph crash (CRX)

Toyota makes more cars in the US than most US manufacturers do. GM builds cars out of Mexico and Canada and yet the ignorant rednecks still think it makes them patriotic to love GM because GM is a dumbestic brand. In reality, GM can't afford to hire American workers so they have to out source.

At the end of the day it's about quality control and how much the manufacturer cares about their product. Dumbestic brands just don't give a ----, they're in it to make a quick buck and hope they don't get sued. Anyone in touch with reality will admit what ---- dumbestic cars are. Japanese brands built their reputations on quality and those reputations hold. Toyota specifically just wants to take over the world (automotive and otherwise) and they're well on their way. European brands have build their reputation on image and class, which is also an image that they hold up well.

Now see here ------. Name anything out of Japan in the new car market that can run with a C6 Z06? Can't do it. Road course, drag strip, whatever. You lose.

I don't run a 16G or a cast manifold, so that isn't an issue.

They have a bad reputation because the cars themselves suck *** even outside of DSMs. Hence why Mitsu is consistantly below the industry average on quality reports, along with nearly all of GM's brands, Chrysler, Kia, etc.

WT to the F does that have to do with this statement.........

they have a bad name because there drivers are usually pompus asses. has nothing to do with what parts you "rock"

im about to put a turbo off an american car onto my "japanese"(by way of canada and ohio) car. doesnt mean ----.

btw. the "supra" is supposedly 100k+ v10 car.....still more expensive. and so far youve only come up with one production car. and its not even in production yet. so you still lose on that note
