And the best part about that version of slant is that it easily fools ignorant people such as yourself. Why put an obvious spin on what's happening in the world when all you really need to do is pick and choose what you show people so they get the impression you want them to get. All American media is a joke. Fox News is the biggest joke of all because they've actually duped a large number of retards into believing they're "fair and balanced".

maybe you should move to a queer country where you would feel more comfortable.

foxnews has a huge audience around the world...

those 11 city officals were all liberals.

check the consitution, electoral college is in there, its there so someone can't win an election based solely on states with big huge ****** cities filled with liberals, ------s, beaners, and illegal immigrants.

its there so every state gets a fair say. if you havent' checked almost all the country voted for bush twice, except those huge *** cities filled with disgusting liberals who want more government cheese.

The first way to slant news is WHAT you report. The second way is HOW you report it. I'm not sure someone could be completely nuetral, even if they tried. Lots of things can be interpreted in different ways.

The fact that a large portion of the country voted for Bush doesn't bring any more credentials to what he's fucked up. It could also be because JOhn KErry was a bigger joke, which still doesn't mean people loved Bush.

Anyhow, just got back from the Ron Paul meetup. We were painting signs to eventually vandalize all of MN.

Wow, glad to see some Ron Paul supporters on here!!

Anyway, to clear up some of the original posters questions :

The federal personal income tax-
to make things clear there are two different types of income taxes, the buisness income tax and the personal income tax, one was authorized by the constitution and the other is not(until the 16th amendment in 1913). It is a common misconception that this money actually pays for any government programs, when in fact 100% of the money collected from your income tax dollars goes towards paying the federal reserve interest on loans payed out to cover government expenditures, also known as the national debt. The things you speak of regarding the defense spending, infrastructure, welfare programs, etc are paid by other means, theres like 38 other taxes that we are obligated to pay at one time or anouther, pick a program and i'll tell you the tax that pays for it.
heres a good paper on the subject: http://www.devvy.com/notax.html

You mentioned that you think we need to have our military ------ out all over the world? well according to the Department of Defense base structure report, we have 832 bases in something like 137 countries
http://www.defenselink.mil/pubs/BSR_2007_Baseline.pdf

I beleive 37 of these bases are in Okinawa japan, why do you suppose we need that many bases in that particular country? are you worried japan is going to invade them, even so why should it be left to us to protect them, or are we there incase japan gets attacked from someone else, once again why is it up to the U.S to stop them?

Anyway Ron Paul is the only candidate running that knows what he is talking about, and has never changed his message, this came from wikipedia, to give you an idea of his experience and level of knowledge with regards to his political positions.

Congressman Paul serves on the Committee on Financial Services, International Relations Committee, and the Joint Economic Committee. He is vice-chairman of the Oversight and Investigations subcommittee of the Financial Services Committee and also serves on the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy, Technology, and Economic Growth. Under the Committee on International Relations, he serves on the Western Hemisphere and Asia and the Pacific subcommittees.[66]

Paul served as honorary chairman and is a current member of the Republican Liberty Caucus, a political action organization dedicated to promoting the ideals of individual rights, limited government and free enterprise within the Republican Party.[67] He also serves on the Liberty Caucus (sometimes called the Liberty Committee), a group of liberty-minded congresspeople from both sides of the aisle.[68] He hosts a luncheon for the Liberty Caucus every Thursday.

also here is a debate from a event called freedom fest, its basically a get together of very intelligent people that are debating the war in iraq and other issues, ron paul is a participant:

here is a video if you want to get a better idea of some of his positions, and he strangely enough his logic really makes sense when you hear him explain things.

exactly...I don't know if he's hinting that we aren't there because of WMDs (which still haven't been located) or just that it's ridiculous, but either way he's right.

I find it humorous how we supposedly have satellite images and knew where the weapons were, but somehow they were all relocated? Wouldn't you think that our country (who's scared enough to go to war over it) would be watching them close enough to see weapons being moved?
