Bottom line if you have money stick with the d-series... if not which you probably dont since your dealing with court and your not to old go B-series. I promise this will be your best bet and best decsion.

That is a stupid question, but it's okay. ;) DOHC ZC is basically a D-series motor and completely different than B-series motors.

Another good thing about the H is you still have some good torque numbers. Right now I have a B18B and I love it, can't wait til the new motor (B18C1) and turbo goes in.

Jeff already did a built H-series and I want to do this on stock sleeves, which I can't do with an H22 because of the FRM sleeves and I don't want to get those gay mahle pistons or whatever they are. I'm sure I will have plenty of torque no matter what I go with, so that's not an issue. If you get a GSR keep your LS crank, you will gain more torque.

I would make you look bad no matter what I decide to go with... :y

I answered your call last night didn't I? :P

Seriously though, I try not to drive if I don't have to nowadays, but I'll make a trip up there sometime to drink some beers, or hitch a ride with another one of the southerners. You work weekends? I think I am going to forget about bringing my car though when I go up there because something always happens lol... fuel pump... axle... tranny... :(

I actually have plenty of money to do this. The courts are done with, so that's not an issue anymore, but I still owe on college. I just don't think I want to spend all the money I have saved up on a weekend hobby all at once. I need to think about getting a house and ---- like that pretty soon.

go with either a monster d series build or k series, because it's the new pink.

I actually wouldn't mind an all motor K-series hatch for a daily driver. That would be sweet.

They're pretty dope engines. I've been thinking of swapping in a 2zzge (toyota) into my Celica, but it's expensive just like the K series. There was a video posted on here with some bad ass k series hatches, some club or group or something. Simple bolt-ons in a hatch would go pretty good.

I vote B series. There's more potential there in my opinion.
