You have a good tuner

The d build would be bad ass but ya your gonna have to do a wild top end to reach your goals.

Well here was "Arturbo" posting on honda-tech... "98 Integra 2410lbs, 505whp I ran 10.49@137mph", that and that fact that I run pretty decent times without a lot of power in a heavy car amkes me not that worried about getting a hatch, but I agree it would be very helpful. I am going to focus a lot on suspension and getting all that to work, so I won't need a ---- ton of horsepower. I want to keep it under 135mph anyways because I don't want to have to get a 9sec license and all that other crap you need.

Your right, I'm not going to lie. The big reason I want to stay SOHC is because everybody says they are worthless and I want to build a sick ass car and shove it back in their face! I talk so much ---- about DOHC people that I feel like I would be letting them win lol... It's not just that though, there are other reasons. I do know about the headgasket issue, but I think with a good build and tuning I should be okay. The Full-Race pinks car didn't seem to have problems and Jeff Evans says he wouldn't be worried about 500+whp on stock d-series sleeves, but then again I would still be a little worried.

Even though you may not know me since I've seen you on here very few times; you and your car I credit to making me turbo my single. The times and the fact a single ran 12s. Depending on the .63/.60 and what it puts out on my car I may be looking at borrowing slicks and aiming for 12s. We'll see.

As for you, I was wide-eyed reading the topic and glad to see you were kidding. Represent the D. Keep your trick single stick and let the one cam wonder live on. :y

---- a single cam.. they are good for messing around with, but if you want good numbers you have to go b series. less boost = more power, less work the turbo has to do.

Glad you're back. I say do what you want, which would be buildin the dirty D into a DOHC smoker.
