RWD murders AWD at the dragstrip. Holeshots from hell. The z06 isnt even setup for drag racing and it does extremely well at it. AWD has no advantages except for in limited traction conditions.

Driver doesn't matter in terms of the GTR and launch
it has launch control , the chief tech dir. of Nissan USA said the car can be launched by his mother or a professional race driver and the vehicle will turn the same times.
the Z06 is 7-8mph faster in the 1/4...End of story... 7-8mph is a life time.
the GTR on the 1 Lap of America ran consistent 12.2's... Where's the claimed 11.2's??
It was bullshit.... It's a neat car tech wise , but not everything it was made out to be.
There's Bias , being a fanboi , then just reading the facts.
GTR ..Low 12's.. good comp for the Base (cheaper then the GTR) C6 vette
Lots of Z06's in the low 11's and Ranger ran a 10.9 on factory shitty run flats , documented with a slip and I believe a video.

but they are unreliable i know because im rebuilding the heads of a z06 once a week and they need a complete rebuild at 100k reguardless of how they are driven

I like the GTR ALOT i Like the Vette/LSX motors alot, If i had the money to buy one i think it would be the GTR just because i like teh boost, and simple mods would make the GTR alot quicker.. The Corvette is a badass vehicle and IS faster than the GTR in stock form... its obvious its faster for gods sake look at that trap!! But the GTR is something new and we have all seen Vettes...
