I've yet to see a car with a transverse leaf that didn't function well. My GT6's were some of the most controllable cars I've ever owned, even with all four tires sliding, and nobody really considers 70s cars to have the greatest suspensions. Stock skidpads on cheap ---- rubber for GT6/Spit were the same as the 911 and 914 of the same era which came with a superior tire from the factory, and that includes the 68+ 911 when they finally fixed the godawful rear susp problems of the early ill handling deathmachines.

I've been autocrossing a c4 for 15 years... Never had the want or desire to change to coilovers all around.. (even though it's cheap)
gotta watch the acid based wheel cleaners though , lotsa people learn that the hard way (it eats the spring)

and as with all dealerships we do work on all gm cars
including
pontiac,saab,chevy,pontiac,cadillac,hummer and all the rest
but he happen to have one of the larger in house tuning depots
for gm vehicles and since you can buy dealer installed performance kits that under warentee we do allot of work
just last week i installed a stage 3kit on a solstice gxp and on top of the kit i installed cams,valves,valve springs,valves,8.8:1 forged pistons and full 3" turbo back exhaust and the guy is running 21psi (stock turbo) and making 330ish whp and has an appointment at the end of september to get a larger turbo and meth injection, hes hoping for 400whp on the stock bottom end
