Re:DSM Acclude project.......
F22's have great sleeves, but again.. as mentioned above they dont put out ---- for power in stock form, after you turbo it, you looking to get about the same output of a stock Normal aspirated H22. F22's powerband reminds me of a B18a/b LS they dont rev to make power, they are just torque motors and low output.
Im gonna dis-agree with u on that..
most stock h22a's very in whp from 150 to mid 160s... however modded n/a versions ive seen near 200whp.. regardless..
no way in hell ur gonna tell me that a turbo-charged F is gonna produce 150-60whp.. thats definetly a shitjob of a turbo setup..
a few ppl on H-T have gotten theirs dyno'd one who comes to mind is AccordFreak.. 27xwhp and some change at 14psi.. no he didnt run it that hard all the time.. but was definetly above 200whp at 10psi
some threads i found
http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=215442
dunno if thats true or not dynographs look iffy but still thought to post it
this one took ur theory and threw it in the gutter lol.. not trying to start an arguement thou jeff..

5psi is what he ran.. decent hp numbers but got dayum look at that torque
bleh thats my imput.. just some links for juice accord to look at..

Re:DSM Acclude project.......
hmmm.... so much feeback. i suppose the f22 is good if your thinking small. but i'm not thinking small lol. sticking with the f22 is like putting on a supercharger. it can only go so far. but with a h22 there's just so much more room for power. how about 580whp at 16lbs of boost w/c16. http://www.jgenginedynamics.com/dynotests5 or how about 670whp at 22lbs of boost. http://www.jgenginedynamics.com/dynotests7 yes the swap was expensive, but speed cost money.....how fast can you go? i mean seriously who knows of the most hp on a f22 not to dis, just out of curiousity.
and as far as base power. with minor bolt ons and tuned w/ VAFC i made 183.3whp all motor. with a 75 wet shot tuned on pump gas i made 247.2whp 217ft-lbs but the serious power was made with the 100hp wet shot on c16 race gas (tuned of course)i made 281.6whp and 234.2ft-lbs. but i have the fuel system and ignition system to support that.
yea i make good power on the bottle but there getting expensive to fill. and i want that power all the time.
anyways when the dsm kit goes down, i think i'll call it a
"Preacclipse" :P

Re:DSM Acclude project.......
thanks jeff
back when i had my f22 i didn't know anything about boosting and what not. all i knew is that the h22 is an easy swap and a great platform for power. if i still had my f22 and was thinking about the swap, well of course i would wait and boost the ---- out of it till it blew then i would do the h22 swap. but it's too late for the f22a6 i had. i sold it for $400 w/o tranny lol.
bottom line...........to make an accord really fast, like 400whp plus. you have to get rid of the f22.
