Yeah bud, good work!
I am in the process of boosting my prelude h22a and I am also now using a dsm manifold because its cast and it was dirt cheap however, i opted for a hybrid t3/t04e because the 14b spools too quickly. Anyways, this thread helped me, keep up the good work

Yes, you must lose the front engine mount. There apparently is no way around it. If you're worried about the engine rocking then go ahead and get the rear mount insert. I think they're available at www.prostreetonline.com under bushings and engine in the bushings section.
F22 would have been a better engine for boosting, you're going to need to build that H22 up if you plan on running anything more than mild boost. After you factor in the amount you paid for the swap and the amount you paid to build the engine up, you could have had a nice F22 for a lot less money. But if you've got a wallet full of cash and the need to have the best of everything...go ahead.

Plus, my h22 is closed deck(bulletproof sleeves) so it can handle 9-10lbs daily driven maybe more with some rigorous tuning. And i guess i'm doing this because it's pretty rare to see a 4th gen H22 & turbo.....and from what i've seen the H-series makes much much more power with basically half the boost as most other honda engines(fully built of course).
Ok so all i need is that $25 prothane insert for the rear mount and i can take out the front one. that's good news...well then all i have left is the manifold. Does anyone know where i can just buy a dsm turbo flange, or does anyone have any ideas about what i should do about the manifold. (can i widen the holes on the dsm one?)
Or has anyone seen this done before.
thanks guys

risen from the grave...
now to add some more fuel to the flame..
w/ F22.... if you spent $500 for raceeng (wiseco made) 85.5mm forged overbore pistons and rings, $330 for ImportBuilders forged h23 rods, $120 on h23 arp studs, $100 for ACL main and rod bearings and thrust washers, $300 to get the block hot tanked, bored .020 over, and honed. add another $500 or so for oil pump, timing Belt, water pump, lower gasket kit, upper gasket kit, etc.. now you have a block capable of easily 450hp or so for roughly $1850. you cant even get an h22 swap for that much...
this guy made 335whp on a complete stock f22.

a few other guys are in the 270ish hp range, stock block/head as well.

Okay. i know there are folks making more.... But my "shitty" f22b1 (all stock- is making 260 WHP and around 270 tq at 10 psi on a conservative tune. I am in the process of building another f shortblock with sleeves, pistons rods etc to push the 450 whp area, but in the meantime am getting ready to turn up the boost on my stock motor to 15 psi Expecting 325 WHP or so. Ive got GOD as a tuner!!!!!
Injectors own me right now...It is really all in the tune.... I had dumb asses betting me my setup wouldnt last amonth....its been 5. I beat ther ---- out of the car EVERY chance i get, and have yet to find a h22 swapped accord that will keep up..so $ for $ boost the f.... I love my setup, and KNOW firsthand that the f motors are rock solid, hence my not "stepping up" to the h. ---- it, its a blast smoking ******* in a full interior car w/ps, and ac and subs, and my fat *** in the car.Yo CAN boost the H in its stock form but need to make sure you have someone who really knows how to tune it do so or you WILL smoke it. Ive got a buddy whose putting down over 450 on a stock h22.
one word of advice, do everything you can to keep your front mount.... (By th way, I managed to do that too!!!)
I am in no matter bashing the H motors... Just partial to the f. But as mentioned above...the composite sleeves are NOT asboost friendly as the f series' Iron PERIOD. If people try to argue this with ya they are ILL infoimed. Wheather or not the block is closed deck or not is not the issue. Its the sleeves' composition.
By the way i embarrased some guy in his 67 RS/SS 396 4speed Camaro today...PFRICELESS... (the most commonly asked thing i get about my car is what in the ---- do you have in that thing??)
