Actually most of them came with 2.73 gears and going from that to a 3.55 is a HUGE difference.

Actually those gears would keep the RPM UP, not down so there goes your theory.

Your a ------- idiot. My car has 10 less lbft of torque and .3L less displacement than a 5.0. And the 99+ "small motor"4.6 blows the 5.0 out of the water in torque and HP. Wow thats a world of ------- difference.

Come on, let's be realistic, the big complaint about the 4.6 is that it makes power much higher in the power band then the 5.0, im not trying to be a dick, im saying that put both cars on a scale and see what weighs what, i bet a ---- ton that you would be suprised at how much lighter the early fox is compared to the SN95, and boost, yah it moves the rpm up some, granted, so now in fourth it wouldnt be lugging the motor thus making it MORE efficient.....

lol, I like how you turned that around, but Johnny is saying he can "lug" up hills and that's what gives him such good MPG, but now you're saying that since his gears bring the RPM UP and prevent it from "lugging" that is what's helping. I'm confused.
