In all reality, you cannot compare ground crashes like that... with a building crash. Especially a building crash that involves reinforced concrete walls.

I do wonder where the engines went... cause they are close to 7 tons of titanium.. they should have at least hit the side of the pentagon in close proximity to the body of the plane. Even if the plane contacted the ground and then "skipped" into the pentagon... I feel that they would still have bounced along next to it and hit the pentagon.. unless maybe they bounced over it?

I thought the plane's approach speed was estimated to be slower than it's cruising speed. Witnesses on site said that the plane banked and then flew into the pentagon coming out of the banking maneuver. At that low... and that speed he wouldn't have really been able to make that bank... lots of aircraft pilots have stated it's a pretty one shot in hell chance he made it. I guess it could be done.. but I don't know about the approach speed being 500mph.

You absolutely can compare them. What happens when a plane hits a building? Things disappear? The bottom line is you're dealing with steal and titanium that don't just randomly disappear regardless of what they hit. If there isn't an entire 757 worth of metal at that crash scene (and there isn't), then a 757 was never there.


Ironically the Flight 93 crash sit also has no wreckage.

I will also ask you, what happens when the plane hits the building? It just disappears? I don't care how fast it hit the building, there is any entire aircraft worth of metal at the crash site or there isn't. Three scraps of metal totalling 20lbs would not suffice for an investigation in any other airline crash. The metal has to go SOMEWHERE. Where did it go?

The engines are pretty far away from the fuselage of a 757...



I'd imagine it'd be something like.... i | i Which would leave damage in three areas on the pentagon wall.
