I'm not worried about hurting the car/motor/tranny, I'm worried about the poor ol' stock clutch disk and disabling my DD. If I had a little more tire spin it would "cushin" the clutch disk. If the suspension was still stock I'd probably spin 3rd more than it does (before the suspension was dialed in), but with 225 tires and the suspension setup hooking like it does, I'd hate to have to drop the tranny and just replace the disk and not the flywheel, pressure plate, ect. So it's not that I'm a pansy or I don't think it won't take the abuse (it's taken plenty and if the rain holds off I've got some runs tonight), I've just got more than enough on the line to persuade me from beating it to within an inch of it's life for some (not you, you like the car) people who will insist on ragging on my ----.

direct injection is what i meant. fair enough, didnt realise that it had a stock clutch. i'd not turbo without a serious clutch. hell, i went to the extreme of fitting a larger stock clutch into my small bell housing to give it more heat resistance when it does get to do a bit of loaded slipping. still, i guess there is headroom provided that you keep the heat out of it.
that video isnt insane, but it is decent :-)
so gutted that i couldnt make a better vid before leaving new zealand. i have to wait TWO YEARS to see all that hard work again...

Um I hate to be the first to say it but if you consider retarted wheel spin a small chirp into 2nd then Ok but to me it looked like an NA sentra dude. My boys Spec V has Nismo Header Tanabe Catback and CAI and it sounds like his would keep up.
