New motor Haven't built it yet, I've got a spare sitting at the shop.

I finally got Scat to decide to make some rods for this motor. Not going to use the '07 rods anymore, going to use the Scat because it's been a pet project of mine for a while, and they'll be cheaper than the new OEM rods, and stronger.: http://myspecv.com/f/t8440-scat-ente...ting-rods.html

So the build will be, the '07 crankshaft (on left):

old QR rod vs new '07 Spec V specific OEM rod:

Wisco or Ross 8.5:1, Toga bearings, 350Z high pressure valve springs, ECU reflash w/ raised rev limiter, etc, etc, etc.

Check out my friend in Florida, he's 95% done boosting his '07 Spec V, pretty sure it'll be the first in the nation.

My heat shield, figure I'd post up pics, yes it used to be a coffee can. I yanked it from work and took a ziz wheel to it. Work of art, if that isn't HMT approved IDK.

nevermind the coolant splatter on the turbo.

Sick Build. How about a complete part list in the initial post since this thread is so long?

Hey J, did you just tack-weld the coffee can to your downpipe? It's all lookin' good man. What psi are you making the #'s in your sig at? How far are you from Calhoun? I here there's a pretty straight shop up there with a dyno. The guy(name is Andrew) keeps lots of EVO's and Sti's and ---- like that around the shop. I need to get my car on the rollers and see what it's puttin' down OFFICIALLY..

The can is held down with the bolts and retaining tabs that hold the turbine housing to the center section.

You'll drive right past at least 15 dyons to get to Calhoun, lol. The one I use is about 15 minutes from my house, it's indoors in a climate controlled shop.

The numbers in my sig were at 8 psi.
