that cvt is gonna hold a good 500hp, but throw a few more trans coolers on it. cvt's make more heat than a 30,000btu turbo heater in a tin shed.

I couldn't imagine holding redline all the way down the track, that's got to be good for 12's easy. Quite a few of the Spec v kit parts would work on the 2.5 Alti coupe...... it'd be a beast

spec v swap into an altima, all it does it take comp from 9.4 to 10.5, and throw a set of a little more redliney cams in.

a 2.5 with cvt is pretty ripperish in an altima 4dr, a little better in a coupe

"At 3,080 pounds, this car is 135 pounds heavier than the Civic Si sedan and about 300 pounds heavier than the previous-generation SE-R Spec V."

altima coupe:

"ENGINE TYPE: DOHC 24-valve V-6, aluminum block and heads, port fuel injection
Displacement: 213 cu in, 3498cc
Power (SAE net): 270 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 258 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm

TRANSMISSION: continuously variable automatic

DIMENSIONS:
Wheelbase: 105.3 in Length: 182.5 in Width: 70.7 in
Height: 55.3 in Curb weight: 3366 lb

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 5.8 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 15.7 sec
Zero to 120 mph: 28.4 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 6.4 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 14.6 sec @ 97 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 130 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 175 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.82 g"

so maybe 235-240 at the wheels, a turbo'd 2.5 could put down power in the 280-300whp range, that'd be sick. The infinite pull of the CVT would be amazing. It'd spool and keep spooling untill you let out.

400lbs lighter than the altima, with the same weight on the front wheels.
