Welp.... we turned it from concept to object

Here it is in all its glory, a custom one-off -10AN BMW M50 fuel rail

The little fitting in the middle is a 1/8NPT for fuel supply to nitrous solenoid Thinking ahead

How will it be secured in place?

Worm drive hose clamps and duct tape, no doubt

That drawing is solidworks, right? man, I wish I had that prog.

we've got aluminum that we will clamp in the mill and run a tool right up with the same diameter as the round top porting, and then drill it and it'll be a hold-down.

Yep solidworks.

The cool thing bout this -10AN rail is that its a circle so when we couldn't fit it on the end mill we put it in the lathe. We clamped it with 3 shoes around the round part, and that centered it on its axis... and we tapped it/drilled the end on the lathe! The other extrusions you cannot do this on and I would have had to make some sort of fixture to mount the extrusion in as we could only clamp from the 1/2 spot down - that meant a lot of wobble. The lathe was perfect adn we got the O-ring seat and everything done.

How much pressure can the plastic intake manifold take? Just curious. Bad *** build so far.
