oh, and do you guys realize that there are multiple generations of a motor right? like h22a4, the last number is the gen/model of that series
hence like a b16a1, b16a2, b16a3.
f22a have 1 sets of ports, while f22b have different. while both are F-series, 2.2L, but differ in various ways (hence the B2model).
it could be possibly right that the newer h22 have differnt port locations, its been shown with the f22, that just because it says "f22" doesnt mean they are all the same. where do you think various HP and TRQ numbers come from? different exhaust & intake manifolds, different port locations, everything comes into play.
look at my above post for port locations. i only showed the common h22 O--O--O--O port.

got the intercooler mounted today. took me forever. i had to cut out a good sized section of the front reinforcement. the inlet and outlet are on the bottom as you can see. kinda ghey, kinda ghetto, but hell the whole setup is ghetto so it fits in good w/ everthing else. it will do for now. at least it's not a side mount intercooler lol.

I haven't worked with any F22s. I will tell you that if you look at your head, the ports seem to have a much more equal spacing than any H22 I've ever seen. If someone went to the time and trouble to etch "H22" on a H23, or gave you an H23 head and sold the H22 head elsewhere, then there is probably more going on than you think.
You got it on, it works, I've got nothing but props for you. I'm just saying that your case seems to be a huge abnormality.
