I haven't worked with any F22s. I will tell you that if you look at your head, the ports seem to have a much more equal spacing than any H22 I've ever seen. If someone went to the time and trouble to etch "H22" on a H23, or gave you an H23 head and sold the H22 head elsewhere, then there is probably more going on than you think.

You got it on, it works, I've got nothing but props for you. I'm just saying that your case seems to be a huge abnormality.
man i hope that's not an h23 head lol. nah it can't be. i can rev up to 7800rpm that's where the p13 rev limit is. i mean the ecu says jdm h22a with a bunch of japanese writing all over it (in marker) i also made a little above average whp for a h22 w/o nitrous of course. but it was where i should be. but i'll tell ya one thing. i have a dc sport header for h22. so it must be a h22 head. vtec engagement is at 5200 rpm (stock h22 setting)

but really you've never seen anything like it?? that's actually kinda cool then. heh

i'm leaving the battery in. running a screen over the filter (for a louder spool) i have pics of the manifold on the second page. i actually had to modify almost all the holes lol but it fits and ports line up. the whole thing is going in this weekend and then i'll update this thread w/ all the pics from the install

i just asked a simple question. and you gotta talk ----. why are you flamin anyways. i'm a fellow cb7. you should be helping me not flaming me. but how the hell could you help. you know nothing about h22's you just "heard" that their weak rofl. and you think f22 is a better motor than h22 now that's a ------- laugh. considering that fastest f22 w/boost in an accord only does high 11's in the 1/4 mile. when the fastest ALL MOTOR h22 does 10.3 @ 134mph. hmmm yea your right the f22 is way better lol. either way if we had a built f22 and a built h22 both turbo on a dyno you'd be going home crying. and i'm not talking about money so don't bring that ---- up. cuz i've got money to waste. i'm just boosting w/this junk setup untill i crack a sleeve or a piston ringland. then i'm more than prepared for the full bottom end built and new turbo setup.

i also wouldn't call the swap a waste even if i blow it up... i've gotten 20k miles out of it with absolutely nothing but oil changes. everything else has held up. i also have dumped about 12 bottles of nitrous through it too lol. i'd say i already got my moneys worth. now it's time to blow it up.
oh then i guess u havent seen bisi's crx run yet ehh dont diss an f22 yo! haha its a good motor all motors are good just as long as u build them properly mang

I'd love to see boost make it's way past this maze of check valves. a friend of mine thought up this idea. looks wacked out, but if you think about it, there's pretty much no way that the boost is going to make it to the map sensor when it has all those dead ends w/check valves to go through.

Well it's in!!!!

It took me and my friend Ben(ben is da man) a total of 21 hours to install this. neither him or myself have ever installed a turbo. so basically we were doing this thing blind. we also had to fabricate all the intercooler piping and the downpipe. ben modified my starion to have the inlet and outlet on the sides now aswell. we had to drop the oil pan and tap into that(time consuming). so basically i'd say we did a damn good job and in record time considering were are both turbo noobs. and don't forget that this dsm turbo setup has never been done on an accord with an h22 before. i'm the first to do this EVER!!(that i know of hehe)

check valves installed. and they work great. so haha to all you idiots who go and pay 50-60 bucks for a missing link when you can spend 5 bucks at a pet store muahahah

pic of my 12:1 FMU. yes it sucks but it's better than nothing

here's my oil filter block adapter. this saved tons of time

and YES we did drop the oil pan to do this. i'm not that stupid to put metal shavings into my oil.

the blue oil line that you see here didn't last very long. and as you will see in the next pics we went and got some brake line. that held up much better.

next we worked on the intercooler piping

Blow off valve mounted(actually i should say hanging lol) outside the engine bay for maximum volume.

the neck that comes off of the compressor side of the turbo that has the nipple on it where you connect a vacum to the wastegate actuator wouldn't fit. it would hit my thermostat. so we cut it off and moved it. as you can see.

the wastegate actuator is a really tight fit between the fan and the block, but it works like it should. i hit about 7.5 psi

here i used a stock honda O2 sensor as a plug for the dsm one. it's not funtional.

stock dsm intake(plugged other holes)

here's a laugh for everyone.... ............(just remember this was done as a temporary fix until i could get back to the cities) but it's still funny as hell.

and this is how it sits now.

Boost is so much fu.cking fun yaaay!!!!! besides all the problems and ghettoness. the thing feels like i'm on the 65-75 shot of nitrous, but ALL THE TIME yaaaay. and that's with a ton of boost leaks lol and completely untuned. i need to get a different oil feed setup before i really get that **** hot. but the few times that i really got on it, it was fast and i'm happy. now i just need to get to to my local dyno today and see what my A/F is. then i will beat the living **** out of it

yes, i'd say it's a pretty decent setup considering this whole project cost me oh, umm $600. not bad at all in my eyes.

and yes i have a vafc on the way. i think for 7lbs of boost my stock 345cc injectors and walbro 255 will handle the load just fine.
