Re:DSM Acclude project.......
50psi?, any proof?
No, i didn't say he has ran 50psi, i'm just saying it's possible and will probably happen once he gets a cage. he's also running gator axles but for the time being he's just loving it as a street car. he's the fastest import (street driven) in minnesota right now. and i think he only lost once so far this summer and it was to a 2003 Saleen Mustang with a blower and a 100 shot
Legacy,
after reading all your comments, i wish i still had my f22 cuz i would have had lots of fun boosting and beating the ---- out of that motor. but i didn't know any better. and i'm still glad that i did the swap. all you accord guys have really open my eyes to the F series. now, there's no way in hell i'd ever put one back in my car. maybe i'll buy an old piece of ---- 4th gen for my winter beater and boost it just for fun lol. and as for the 11.95 in that accord with the f series. well i was just like when i saw it. to think i could have done that with my old motor is unbelieveable. i could have taken the money from the swap and built my f22 and boosted it. oh well. we all make mistakes and learn from them. i'm happy with what i have now. F series or H series who cares it's still a cb7. RESPECT the 4th gens :P
what size charge piping should i use with this dsm setup?? 2 1/2"

Man, I'm thinking this all wrong, I need to put a F22 in my car, not a B-series. LOL
LegacyF22T, you have great points, however if you compare a built F22 vs a Built h22 a h22 will make more power reguardless. Yes its going to cost way more and for some that really isnt a issue. Some people want to be the "fastest" some people dont like sohc's (coughmecough). But overall, I think most of us agree the best way would be to turbo the stock f22 and start from there because they are great powerplants from the factory.

Maybe hes getting confused because the guy said he can handle 50psi, because my sleeves were tested at 60psi after being sleeved. Doesnt matter 25psi on a untuned engine can blow a hole right in a ------- sleeved block.

5k Into an F has more potential than 5K into an H..
but ill stop with the comparison..
jeff.. you should seriously consider it..
since you hate sohcs.. and love the revs..
drop a f20a dohc into your crx... 88mm stroke.. the B series of the Fs basiclly...

Re:DSM Acclude project.......
dude, no offense but you should hit up www.areyousmokingcrack.com they might be able to help you.
I guess i must be..
ok.. how much does it cost to have the h22a resleeved?? so u can add some nice pistons and rods to go with that?? total that together and what do you have??
where as the F u can already slap the forged pistons in.. no need to resleeve it..
i meant it has more potential because more can be spent on the turbo kit itself and power producing parts..
ud spend more money on building the H than building the F..
as always its pure preference.. as u saw.. isumiz's accord is STOCK BLOCK..imagine if he had forged pistons/rods/balanced crank..
i rest my case.. as always.. its pure preference..
makes me wonder why bisi choose the F series to run in his crx
