they are reverse rotation, and logically you'd think the shaft would have right handed

Look what brown brought me today.

Going to experiment with it an a diesel. HE551V Vgt turbo. I don't have my calipers here to measure the wheels yet though. So here are some size reference pictures it looks HUGE.

I would love to see someone try one of these on a V8. As if they typically need a lot more bottom end torque. lol

Just picked a brand new in the box holset vgt turbo

Im looking to run close to 35psi on a b16

I figured it would be easy to just tack weld vanes fully open and use an external boost controller

Could that work since its high boost?

You wouldn't need to weld it, just put a spring on the arm. Exhaust pressure tries to force it open anyway.
Just remember if you do it fully open it will spool relatively slow, its a 25cm housing at that point.

what he's saying is, done leave it wide open.. you'll never spool that thing without a full drag racing setup. find a good medium and set it there if you like. running/adjusting it on a dyno would probably be your best bet. good luck

use a threaded turnbuckle that you can adjust it with and /done
