can someone get me measurements of the outside of one of these things? ive been looking at running some sort of vgt for years now but have never figured out a suitable controler for the electronicso now im looking into some mechanical solutions like aero has. i just want to know if i can fit the thing in my car before i spend the money on one. if someone could get the length and width at a few points id appriciate it

LARGE... When fitting mine in my engine bay, i measured across the compressor housing(which CANNOT be clocked), straight across the centerline to the comp outlet, it was about 13 inches. The turbine housing is about 11 or so and can only be clocked in increments because of the unison ring position inside the housing. I can get some measurements with pics on monday if you want them..

I can't comment on the Garrett turbo, maybe that is what you are talking about. The Holset ones can be clocked though, on both hot and cold sides. It just requires removing two small pins. Maybe he was asking for garrett dimensions.

This would be pretty cool if it would work with the Holset speed sensor.

TURBINE: inducer=72.25mm
exducer=66.45mm
.9 a/r, stepped 3inch vband inlet and i think 4inch vband outlet

COMPRESSOR: inducer=58.00mm
exducer=81.55mm
.58 a/r. part of the a/r is built into the chra so it is not clockable

Thanks for the measurments and pics. The hotside is undivided? The V-band inlet is kinda nice, other than not being like anything else.

thats a POS damn pain in the *** 6.0 turbo. me and them are incredibly good friends ive spent many hours under the hoods of those trucks. id like to get some measurements of the holset. im not a big fan of the vband inlet on the garrett to leave that extremely heavy bastard hanging from it.

id like to have the measurements on a holset its going on an H22 hatch so theres not much room to work with. i can already see its almost certain that ill have to build a topmount for it but past that i cant tell without a few measurements.
