Man, your thread is too long(I fell asleep last night thru half of it)...But I must say you really want to turn your clamps around, I did that on my Honda(No welder at the time) and it got caoght on a low spot and ripped it off. Needless to say, it was time for an upgrade! But your project looks awsome!

put some ---- around your spark plug wires too, id be afraid if burning something up.
