so i just buy gsr je pistons or whatever is the right bore i am using and use the compression calculator to get the cr i want? 4 cylinders are complicated compared to v8's lol

So the Garrett T3/T04e 57 trim .63a/r is says to support to like 480hp. So should I stick with it or get a bigger or ball bering turbo? Thanks

id say stick with it how much hp it can support depends how big your compressor is ..
your turbine can handle some good hp cuz i know a stage one 48 is suppsedly good till 300 but i maybe wrong..

Typical strage 3 or 5 turbine wheel found in the aftermarket will net 425-450 whp out of that turbo with excellent spool. All the "comparable" GT-series "upgrades" are laggier and annoying. GT30 doesn't spool any sooner than GT35, but when it does spool it spools faster and that sudden onset of torque creates traction problems... plus, both GT30/35 are laggier than what you have. Unless you are drag racing on slicks and need faster than mid-10s I wouldn't fool around with a different turbo.
