CX bottom end?

Default CX bottom end?

if my z6 bottom end gets destroyed when i up the boost with my t3t4 setup could i use my CX bottom end as a z6 mini me and boost it less until i get a new d16z6?

i dont see why not. compression will just jump up a bit but with the proper fuel mixture, you'll be fine. its nothing drastic. but remember this...cx is 8 valve. theres not enough valve reliefs on the pistons....so use a dx...or any d-series with 16, not 8. you CAN just put the head on but yeah....do and find out. clink, clink, clink....good luck.

I believe the CX/HF 8v thing has been discussed and figured out. The HF has 8v reliefs inthe pistons. but the cx has 16 even though it is only a 8v engine? Just look at the CX bottom end. I assume you have one sitting around, thats why you asked this question.

dude, you can find 1.5 blocks on honda-tech and then likes, sometimes for free.

yeah the 93 and up 8v's had the same bottom ends as the d15b7 thus 16v pistons. My main concern is strength. i dont want to waste my time putting the d15 bottom end while i make money for a new one if it is only goign to explode. also there is no way im goign without boost!! how long will this biotch last?
