one difference is the way the LMA's (lost motion assemblies) are made. From what I've read on Honda-tech...i know i know.....the ones from the a4 are thought to be a little better....I honestly can't say yes or no.
Also from what a buddy of mine with somewhat of a hybrid h22 in his hatch tells me..the a4 head runs a little quieter.
Other than that, castings are the same...
