dude dont sell that transmission with that car find an ls trans those things are rare and uber titte.

 

lol fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.. im going to parts galore to try to find me an ls tranny for 150 and swap it in.. lol

im keeping the tranny..

but if i find a quick sale why not? i could always but another one from you

Don't sell it fix it, and you don't make sense why pull a tranny and do all that work when you don't want to do the work to do the head right, i think its about the same amount of work it just sucks cause you have to wait to get the head back!

what could cause my dip stick to read incorrectly?? damaged dipstick? lol

so before work i read it and it was half way up the mark.. i check it before i leave work and its fine.. i get home and its barely readable.. i add a little oil and run the car a bit then check it and the ****** is over..

your oil is going to read a bit lower once the car has been driven. The reason is because alot of the oil is still up in the head, and hasnt drained back down to the pan.


Some dipsticks are different. Are you using the stock dipstick

 

You know what it sounds like you have the wrong dipstick yes they are different. Someone proably threw a sohc one in there

um you can buy a b16a stick off me for a couple bucks and see if thats the problem
