well first you take off cam caps 12mm about 16 of them then there will be i beleave 8 headstuds 14mm remove them you may need a breaker bar dont use your tourqe wrench you may have to re-calibrate if you do. then there are some coolant lines in the back of the intake mani 1 on the head its also best to put the motor at tdc before you take it apart so you dont have to later then the pvc hose needs to come off ( hose on black box) it may be a bitch to pull the head off but it will come off unplug all injectors & fuel rail ect or better yet get a haynes manual then take a razor or steelscrub brush remove left over gasket and install on install be carefull of the dowel pins. ive never used copper spray so that is over my head.

You may also want to take the head to the machinst to to get a quick mill to make sure you have a good sealing surface. Also I would recommend a heavy degreasing on the head to clean up ports/chambers vlaves etc.

not to be a dick , but you have over 5k post and you don't have a clue on changing a head gasket, nor own a torque wrench?

Okay here are my two cents.

CYLINDER HEAD bolt torque order and specs
8, 4, 2, 6, 10 <---intake order 3, 7, 9, 5, 1
7, 3, 1, 5, 9 <---exhaust order 4, 8, 10, 6, 2

Torque in steps: 22ft-lbs (264in-lbs), Then to 63ft-lbs (756in-lbs) (final spec) 94+ Teg
Torque in steps: 22ft-lbs (264in-lbs), Then to 61ft-lbs (732in-lbs)(final spec) 90-93 Teg / B16's

I have always had a little slack between the two cams (Like about a half of a tooth) when ive done friends. After I get it all lined up and get the belt on, I spin the motor counter clockwise about 3 times with the tensioner kinda loose so it can suck up the slack of the belt. Then I line up my bottom pully on the tdc mark, and look at my cams. If they are still lined up than lock down the tensioner, put it together, and call it a day. then I Drink a bunch of beers.
