to make power it takes air and gasoline. doesnt make how many cylinders you have... or turbos... it takes roughly the same about of air and fuel to make the same amount of power... of course this is a little off because of different engine's effieceny (sp) levels. and also making torque takes more gas than horsepower...

Well have you seen the new Chrysler 300 with the HEMI engine?It runs off of 4 cyl. when the engine has no load(freeway driving) and when it needs to it runs on 8cyl.They do it by shutting off 4 cyls. by killing fuel and spark.I think that thats pretty cool!

China's primary crop is rice. They can nourish every citizen in that country with rice, they have ALWAYS been able to sustain their country with this substance. They don't need to worry about the rest of the world, they never have. And you're wrong, they export more then they import, almost everything you buy in America (even your car parts) are made in China.

i never said they didnt export more and import. i said they werent self contained... which is true
