At the very least you should have some compassion in your mind for the feelings of the many lives that are going to be lost due to all of this. But this will be my last post, this has gone totally ridiculous. And its turning into name calling, and no longer debating.

protecting people does not mean providing everything for them... that is communism. it doesn't work... its been tried... many... many times

no one's life is lost when i get a tax cut. mine gets better. i spend my extra money... companies make more money... money gets circulated.. the economy grows... people are happy.

keep more of my money, i have less to spend... companies make less money... economy doesn't grow... i'm angry and poor and sit at home and have nothing... while someone on welfare can afford another colt 45 a month with their extra 2 dollars in their welfare check.

Have to agree... its the governments job to serve and protect its EVERY citizen. Otherwise, we are in anarchy.

You have no idea what communism is obviously, communism is the form of government where everyone is assigned their tasks to complete a whole to fulfill a need as one. Like an ant colony. The republic is different in that instead of having a core ruler the officials in charge are directed by the people (citizens) of the society so they have some control of the authority.

You really should take a political science class, or world history (not just American) and make sure you get a professor who is not from America. So you can get an idea of what its like to live in countries other than this one.

But this is the last post... this topic is dead, we know if Bush goes back in we'll be in N. Korea next year and we'll be in debt out our *** and your social security is going to get cut.

The mess in Iraq is never going to be cleaned up and soldiers are just going to die for a lost cause (hell its almost june and still have no idea who we're passing power over to).

i think the government is too big and controlls too much of our life now. they need to back off and deside what they are going to do and quit forcing ---- up my ***. let me live for gods sake and quit worrying about what im doing every other minuite

HAVE YOU ever taken a history class (not high on pills) have you seen what communism was like... what it did to russia? besides the corruption... the whole system of goods and services DID NOT WORK.
