your being DRAFTED!...

Re:your being DRAFTED!...
Oh yeah, the U.N wouldn't let him fight. What a bitch. It takes a man to tell the U.N. they're a bunch of spineless morons and take care of business.
Clinton didn't have time to go to war anyway, he was to busy getting head in the oval office. What a great guy.
Your right Random, liberals are scum. I wish they would quit crying and move to france. (france never starts with a capitol letter.) :P

Well I finally read this long *** thread (I always avoid a long thread unless it says something like Twin Turbo LS/Vtec).
Props to Random & Stealth for "keepin' it real"
I have an excellent ------- suggestion for all you candy *** left wingers, go get the book called The Prize by Daniel Yergin. Might give you a little bit of perception as to what's going on with the situations in the middle east.
Props to Random & Stealth for "keepin' it real"

You would think that in this day and age we would have come up with something better than waging war or using economic sanctions in a situation like this.
And the question was never answered:
What did Iraq do to us to provoke an invasion?
It amazes me that if there really was something to the WMD claim, we would have found SOMETHING by now. There would have been some credible evidence somewhere that there was something to find and ---- all that bullshit that they moved it to another country while we were preparing for war or that there's something the government knows (that we don't) because they would have figured it out by now. Instead they back pedal and say "we'll find 'em, we'll find 'em, be patient"... ---- that... ---- THAT!
Our intelligence was bad and I could at least have a little respect for any of the Bush Klan if they could at least admit they made a mistake. Instead they lie and lie and lie until they've told the same thing so many times that they end up believing it themselves...
In addition, anyone that says liberals (or anyone else for the matter) should leave the country, should ship themselves out for not supporting what America is really about: protected free speech and free ideas and these conversations end up being childish name calling... Get your ------- act together before you start commenting on ---- you obviously know nothing about.
And finally, I do not support this war because it's unfair of us to "free" "oppressed" peoples of different countries in the name of "freedom" while what we're in effect doing is nation building and forcing democracy on these people. I don't give a ---- what anyone says... It's our meddling that's provoking attacks like 9/11 and these matters would be better left to the international community (NATO or the UN) or let the Saudis hash this ---- out in Iraq...
And let's not be friends with Israel anymore because that's where half of our problems come from. It's going to be impossible for us to win a war when we're fighting people who aren't afraid to die, who's dream and glory is killing Americans and taking as many down with them as they can.
And you're a sick ---- if you think violence is ever an answer. You need you *** kicked to remind yourself what it's like to be weak, oppressed and bullied...
Might does not always equal right and I think a lot of people assume we're always right because we're the strongest country in the world, even when we're wrong.
P.S.What the ---- are you guys talking about when you say Bush can do a 6 second mile? That's pretty ------- fast.

As a registered Democrat, I'd like to remind Republicans that always seem to call us candyasses/pacifists the following: Some of the strongest reacting (militarily) and 'nation building' presidents have [historicly] been Democrats.
It burns my *** everytime that son-of-a-bitch Sean Hannity calls me a candyass. I'm prepaired to scour the earth for any ----------er who dare hurt my fellow American, reguardess of where he/she stands policitally or where they came from.
---
That being said, ... lets speak about North Korea. I see China as the main adversary here. China 'officially' lost about 110,000 KIA, 30,000 MIA, 230,000 Wounded in the Korean War. Thats offical Peoples Liberation Army #'s, so they're prolly 2x that.
Oh and I should mention China claims that was a 'volunteer army to cast out the UN foe'.
My point with that is NK, headed by good ole' Dear Leader, doesnt take a ---- without Chinas say so. If nuclear war begins in NK, China is not going to stand for that in such close proximity, we can only assume they would assault the mainland with nuclear weaponry as well. At the very least they'd have no problem nuking South Korea and/or Japan.
---
Frankly I don't like Bush, and I really don't like Kerry. I liked John Edwards a lot solo, I thought he was a man of principle. I'm registered Democrat, but will probobly vote to keep Bush in office. I feel that Kerry's whole 'i was a vietnam vet' ---- is tired, and doesnt play well with GenX'ers like me. Also I feel his foreign policy is weaker than GWB's... and that being said I think GWB's is weak too.
We need strong, hard fisted foreign policy & leadership. We are the last superpower (and sometimes thats questionable anymore) and goddamnit I want to see the sword wielded.
