There is no FITV. I remove those and throw them at homeless people, Bone. What sort of ------- fool do you take me for? FITV, pffft.
I can turn the IACV completely off. Well, not completely, but blocking the IACV port right before the butterfly drops idle (at target 16 degrees base) from 1250 to 1100-1150. Close enough.
I had no working wideband - PLX took a ----, and I left the JAW at home - but I could hit target idle by either richening or leaning things, not just fiddling the ignition timing. Funny thing about retarding the idle ignition timing into the ATDC range, upon releasing the key when cranking the engine I'd get a quick rap or two of detonation. It wouldn't do this with the timing advanced. Odd.
The engine draws -23.5 in/Hg at 800 rpm idle, high CR single intake valve FTW! It also piston slapped a little while cold, I *did* originally have it built for turbo duty. I suppose there is no reason I can't spray a 75 shot on it, then. I wire up almighty VTEC and a wideband tomorrow, pray for my soul those who have recourse to me. :P.
