I really just need the outer half of the case, the part that has the mount but I guess I will do what I have to do to get rid of the leak. What kind of dough are you talking about?

This guy had an HX engine and EX trans he was selling for $300, it ran and shifted mint he's just a lowrent. The trans by itself + ship = reasonable, IMO.

Well, did a light street tune tonight before the VSS cable popped out and I parked the car in disgust.

I have super mild pingies below 1500 rpms, WOT, with 87 octane. I also have some quick pings under tip in when out of VTEC which I've mostly smoothed away by playing with TPS tip in retard settings. I am going to get P2P with my ignition maps so I can get another ~10 degrees retard out of the maps which should take care of the affair, ---- you Rass you know jack ----. If this engine didn't have less quench than stock I guarantee it'd not need to be fucked with.

Car feels decent on the street, pulls alright to 7K. I didn't notice much different by way of gearing, but I suppose the shorter gearing is offset by making power past 5500 rpms so the total package feels "the same" only somewhat faster. 5th gear nets 45 mph at 2000 rpms, need to throw that on a gear calc and compare to stock.

Dyno soon.

Duration will bleed off excess CR at low rpms, which is why some of the big VTEC grinds lump at idle etc.

Are you still thinking of getting a custom cam grind? I'm interested in what specs you're most interested in changing on it.

Crower trashed amkrew's y5 camshaft twice even after way to much time explaining everything/spec shets etc. Its now a door jam.

question of the day.

which gas gives better gas mileage. Is 93 worth the extra money to squeeze out some of the timing available and thus better mpg since you are doing your tune yourself or should you just stick with 87 and save 30 cents a gallon. I'm curious to see what everyone has to say.

only a 20 cent ------ here between 87 and 92-93 E10.

I would pay the extra 20 cents a gallon for PURE gasoline, not the 10% gasahol.

It's what I used to get 53 mpg.

prices fluctuate so much here, its about 45 cents between the two, but eventually it will catch up to 25-30 cents
