thats cool. this motor has super low comp and really wanted more than 21 psi thats for sure. even though the block is devconed i didnt want to push it super hard and the motorola wouldnt have let me go any higher anyhow. im not going to push past the maps readable zone for the sake of 11 hp. ill sawp out the stock p30 intake mani and throw some cam gears on her and rev it to 8500 instead of 8200 and make the 400 no sweat.

im happy with hwere its at, and honestly its faster than necessary for the street on the low boost setting of 13 psi. and remember its only a 1.6 im proud of my little bastard b16a

map sensors aren't a limiter, they're more like...a suggestion. 21....25....its all the same.

yes low boost setting is very uncontrollable on the street. It burns tire all the way until the middle of third where it finally grabs traction, gets up and goes



edit: and thats on low boost. high boost is another 80whp

personally id never use the low boost setting.

bottom line is the ****** didnt make 400hp like he said, he didnt make 300hp on his stock gsr like he said, he didnt make 300 on his 'built d series' like he said, he doesnt ship things out like he says, he isnt broke like he says, anything hotrex says is a lie. IT WOULD make 400 on racegas and more timing with a inch more boost, but the fact is IT DIDNT. so he didnt live up to all the hype crap he talked about, and even his ' secret weapon ' didnt get him there
