A whole turbo would run you roughly $1,300 but would give you a full year warranty regardless of what you do to it. We don't deal with alot of CHRA's because it's generally a lost cause and can't offer a warranty due to the fact that it would be installed by someone else and anything could happen at that point. if you're genuinly interested, I could pull some strings and get you a new center section or a whole turbo at a discount of probably 20% off the total. Honestly, you might be better off buying another or if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

EDIT: You have to remembe that a majority of GT BB turbo owners are spending the cash and doing it properly. Once you reach that point, it ain't HMT anymore and ain't guys who go 5K without and oil change or drive with leaking oils seals or a bad oil pump, bad bearings/low oil pressure. These are things that destroy a BB turbo and easily a reason why it's a much safer bet to steer clear of USED BB turbos unless you know who you're buying from/know for a fact that they aren't an abusive degenerate fucktard who doesn't change their oil and rolls around with low oil pressure starving the center section and ruining journal bearings, being flaoting bearing or BB design. I'm sure you see my point.

Generally if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So long as you don't have any abnormal shaft play, aren't rubbing the housing on either side, are boosting fine, not smoking or leaking oil, or OVERBOOSTING, you'll be fine. There are plenty of people who run their turbos at far higher boost than they're designed for efficiently then cry foul because they don't know how to a read a compressor map or calculate proper pressure ratio. For the GT35, you won't run into that issue so long as the turbo is within spec to begin with. I highly doubt you'll end up running the 34+ psi it takes to get past it's maximum efficiency in the first place.

You'll be fine man.

I could / can but so long as it's working fine and doesn't have abnormal shaft play, isn't rubbing the housing, leaking oil from either side, and is boosting fine, you'd simply be wasting your money. I could tell you something that you'd already know yourself...."this turbos fine" and send it back to you.

389 hp 270 torq at 21 psi. his excuse is "I only had a motorola 2.5 bar on there so i couldnt go over 21 psi" ---- THAT he could have gone to 23 psi and had a SLIGHT rich spot when it passed 22 psi...

weak numbers for 21 psi.. somethings wrong.

Haha. That sucks.
Going to actually shoot for more, or wait and promise 500whp with the next build?
