Well, it worked...kinda....Tuning it was going to be a bitch, so I decided just to eliminate it.....
So instead I have started yanking the 550 cc injectors and am grinding off the tips to open them up to be 820s or so....
I will still have some huge tuning issues, but it should be enough fuel haha.
The hardest part will probably be the idle.... The stock ecu expects 270 cc injectors!!!!!!

Modded the rest of the STI 550cc injectors this morning....
Lets just say I have more than enough fuel now.....
Runs fine, maybe not dandy...... But I am happy!
They are now equivilent to 800-820 injectors, plus the 3-1 rrfpr, so I am pulling ALOT of MAF signal up top....
Still tuning, but its fast.

Hmmm modding the injectors that way, there will be differences from one injector flow to the other=very bad.
I guess he's going for the obese pig-rich technique... otherwise, big risk og going kaboom...

Nope, he's just removing the last restrictor plate from the injector tips. The next one in line is still the same size as in all the other injectors.
FYI, regular WRX injectors can be taken to 720 or 780, I forget.

subaru uses two types of injectors....
Side feed (which are also often swappable with SRd20 Nissan injectors)
and top feed
BOTH are modifiable......
I don't know how to modify the topfeeds, but its similar to the side feeds. Here is the link to how to do the top feeds.
