We got about 7 psi on the first pull, then blew the ------- compressor housing off the turbo. WTF, the snap ring was 'modified' when i got it back from being rebuilt. I'm ------ jacked

Well we got er put back together. The turbo wheel's pretty ground up and no way in ----'n hell she's balanced..... but we did go a block up and down the street and bounced the boost gauge with no new issues. Needs injector seals and apparently a real wastegate... I'll post some pics tomorrow, maybe some vids if I can get someone to drive er... I have a title and that's about the only paperwork.

got the snap ring re-seated on the turbo, went out for a roll. cruising at 2k in 3rd gear, laid into it about 2/3 and showed 5psi slowly creeping up, creeped up to around 7-8.
return trip, got it through first, hit second, tim goes 'go for it
', lay into it at basically wot, ------ boost guage maxes out at 20, needle twanged in the boost guage, rev limiter comes out of nowhere, 20+psi from a faulty ching chong meow wastegate, ls took it like a champ. tim later worried about his ringlands, pff. ill post pics/vids up in bit

Hopefully this doesnt turn into a situation like a friend of mine I'll leave unnamed... his turbo burned oil after rebuild from blaast, sent it back, got it back, still burned oil, sent it back, i think he said he ran ~800 miles and it started smoking again... blah blah blah kept doing that until he gave up...
