Hell yes I have a holset setup on my 89 lude and i'm telling you one thing if you go with that wastegate whatever spring you put into it automatically add about 4-5 pounds. Because these turbo's just spool harder the more load they are put against. You're going to love that turbo, I personally have an H1C. As for the oil feed I kept mine a bit simpler I just bought a pipe thread tap and swapped it over to a 3/8's thread. Overall You've got my thumbs up on your turbo selection

just a simple ? why the HX35 and not the H1C, I have a H22A and I tried the Hy35 and the Hx35 and with the larger displacement of 2.45 liters H22a built and bored but the H1C spooled earlier even with the M2B4 LSD trans"shifts quicker from the shorter gears". Then I tried my P2A5 with a M2B4 lsd and the trans gear box cover with both setups and again the H1C spooled quicker and more consistant without non of that "add 4-5 lbs" jargon. Just asking.

Honestly, I got raped on the turbo buying it in "runing condition" but it ended up being blown. ------- late night impulse buys instead of risking more money buying another used turbo I just dropped the dime to Blaast and got er rebuilt. Now it's not the cheapest turbo I coulda gone with but I got it. Oh well, we'll see

As we left it the other night

So sinister jumped in the project trying to reinstall the tapped oil pan....

But he got distracted and decided he'd rather sit on the sideline and watch like the rest of us

So tonight complex welded me up a downpipe

Fit pretty ****, even had an O2 bung we added. 3" bitch

But by then we were all a little buzzed after 4am and he even let me try welding. (I needed to grind that ---- back off)

---- surgery, pull off the bandage and pull an all nighter..

Got the stealthmode oil lines run, the Turbo dumptube run with o2 bung.... ran lines for boost and oil pressure gauges...
almost got the Wastegate dump tube also, but we decided to pass out

Still gotta wire in some resistors for the rx-7 460's... run some charge piping... and finish the dump tube. ---- i'm almost there? Almost time to blow this bitch up

So who says you can't lift a forklift? Random lift abuse OSHA approved:

2450 ccs what crank before i call bullshit..... Because I KNOW the bore isnt more than 89mm if you are smart. an h22 crank sure isnt going to get you there, but you have finslly sparked some interest.....

the suspense is killing me, i hope it will last.....

H23A crank with the H22A rods with the wrist pin located higher on the skirt of the Ross piston, and bored to 88mm with L.A. performer sleeves capable of running a 90mm bore n/a and yes 89 boost. Its the figure that Ross gave me so it could be wrong. But still why the Hx35?

Looking good The HX35 is a perfect match for the B18 and is capable of 450-500whp maybe more when you get a built bottom end in there.Did you pull the silencer ring out?

Def going to want a built bottom as this turbo just wants to run 15+ it is wat more happy there. If you have a B16 there i would slap the B16 head on to get some better top end and rpm.
