Default Updated SHE LIVES for less than $200...ghetto rebuild

Well I've been collecting, trading, then selling parts for some time... but I finally started the install on my teg.

I started it all learning about boost here, with no car in mind. Honda's seemed the easiest to learn FI on so I focused there, then a little gov't enforced free time gave me plenty of time to learn the basics of the computer side of things. Then I came across a smokin deal on a teg....

$500 for this:

Came with this B16:

Also came with these I sold for $175

And these I sold for $15

So that leaves a $310 investment for a base for boost with a B16 backup motor.
Not bad in my book, it was missing the plug wires/hood/exhaust... the spark plugs were out and cylinders had a lil water in em... the front end was pulled apart... and the headlights/taillights were gayified. Took some minor assembly, a battery and a coil to fire the ---- up (thanks Mista Bone )

I work suicidal hours for no pay for myself, but after Evan showed up with a few local peeps with a kick in the nuts, it looked like this:

(thanks alot guys, now instead of crashin on my couch I now stay up workin on this ----, but seriously you guys kick ***)

So Holsets have some fucked up thread for an oil feed that matches nothing? ---- it grab the grinder and the tap set, we're makin a flanged inlet nig

Got the pan tapped along with a bunch of ---- done tonight, but no pics of how it sits now.

Setup is stock 92 LS with a Holset HX-35 rebuilt by Blaast
Used China Wastegate
Used Revhard mani
Decent sized FMIC
RX-7 460cc injectors (for a start)
running crome on a self chipped ecu, just got an ostrich
lc-1 ready for a tune

Total investment will get tallied, but I'm shooting for under 2k including all tuning equipment and all. I'm going ------ cheap.

BTW any WPA guys need a place to work, I gotta lift and I litteraly live on a couch here at the shop... so hit me up if you need a place to work (nights) cars just can't spend the night unless we make some advanced plans.

Yeah i couldn't get anything to match up at the hardware store, but I like this way much better.

Turns out I have to have surgery on my hand tomorrow, so we'll see how functional I'll be this weekend. Updates may have to wait till next weekend
