wow, those vids are a whole lotta ----. Who's got a real digicam around here?

I'll lock the bolts down with some locktite, maybe some drilled head screws for wire to secure them, not a problem. I'm just pissed I ASSumed they would've come back from being rebuilt already torqued.

I guess, lesson learned... It is my first kit afterall

Pulled the turbo off... again. There was a touch of contact between the wheel and housing, all the noise was coming from a heat shield looking thing that sits behind the fan. Bearings felt tight still, hopefully I caught it just as it happened as I'm almost certain I did.

Wondering if I should run it as is, or have it checked out and rebalanced again.

Got the front bumper put back on, and stock headlights in. Can't see a damn thing to let you know it's turbo now. Only giveaway will be the noise. Just gotta find out why my turn signals stopped working and put an exhaust on er and I can get it inspected. On the road to bein legal.

i will vouch that this teg will do 8lbs at 2600rpm 5th gear, with that holset. seems to boost 200rpm quicker now thanks to the turbine hitting the exh housing/heatsheild washer thing.

^^^^ NO ------- photoshop. i worked some vinyl ricer decals on the car already to spell that

Drove by the shop today, from the pics I figured you'd be able to tell a little that its turbo but you cant see squat, atleast from 30 feet away. Looks like a regular old teg sitting in the lot.

Broke again, simple though. Had a kid that works for me take it for a drive, took a vid of the first little pull he did, he needs a little practice but I don't get many oportunities to get it out on the road.

Anyway he beat on it a little while we drove away from where any cops would be and the car seemed much slower, popped the hood and found a big hole in the elbow I have coming off the turbo. New it would happen just hoped it would last a little longer.

Oh yeah, I got a few more parts in the mail waiting to go on
