CAI didnt make it that loud. only thing it makes louder is the spool. it's a big difference from the stock box.

but truth is. the stock box flows VERY Well for a stock air box. heck there are people running stage 3 turbo with the stock box for and eazily hitting 350WHp. so getting a CAI isnt nessasary.
well it made mine plenty loud, its pretty audible in the cabin . yeah i know all about the stock airbox and how good it is, i was just bored so i used the stock piping and added a 90* mendral bend and directed the filter in to the fender, it really didnt make a difference at all except for the sounds

if u guys have such a problem with the handling.....u should have opted for the ACR model....awesome handling skillzzz...u want to know why the stage 3 guys use stock airboxes....well for anyone who opted for the Stage 1 an higher models....the scoop in the hood was functional to the stock airbox....I actually thought dodge shoudl have sold all the srt4 models that way...but suprisingly....alot of the base model owners don't kno much about it

The hood scoop is used just to direct cold air to the turbo. The turbo is crammed under the firewall so it doesn't get much airflow. It has a pocket in the hood that runs to the stock airbox, but hyou have to cut the hood out and take the top off the box in order for it to work and the gain isn't worth the trouble. For the price the srt4 is a good brand new car. Of course you can always take the same amount of money and make something else faster. The stock clutch is good for a decent amount of hp. I was pushing 268whp and 325lb ft of tq and never had an issue with it. The tranny rocks and has been even used for a 221mph topspeed run without modifications. The engine is all but bulletproof tuned properly. The car is a pig but with some suspension upgrades it seemed pretty solid.

As for stage 1 Just the ECU on 04 and 05 models and an ECU and injectors on 03 models. Waste of money in my opinion. The stock turbo is good for 21psi after that you actually start losing hp. The turbo IS integrated into the exhaust manifold, so just bolting it onto a honda isn't going to work. The stock computer is so messed up with sensors and crap, if you fart too loud in the car you throw a CEL.

The rear spoiler is indestructible

Nah. I blew a tire doing 45mph and it pulled me into a ditch, a boulder and 3 or 4 trees. Haha I wasn't even speeding.

I wouldn't mind an SRT-4. Call me gay, but I currently drive this:

23 mpg is my daily life, going from this boat to another sedan with 23 mpg wouldn't be a problem at all. The handling HAS to be better than my boat, and the acceleration would kick my lesabres ***. It'd be an easy transition.
