For someone who thinks he knows so much about MHI turbo's you sure make a lot of retarded errors. You can't seem to tell the difference between a turbine housing and a compressor housing time and again.

but lets say i want to use the wheel and compressor housing without the turbine housing. only since it's a really good map on that turbo on a car like my Starion (Im making an example up i don't own a starion)

14G-TD05H-8CM2 starion stock turbo.

so we know the 16g is bigger. we know it'll fit in the center section in the compressor housing since it's a td05 compatable compressor housing. but i see that the compressor housing is bigger on the starion then it is on the super 16g. so i'll use my starion comp housing.

"16G-Td05-7CM2" isn't The "super 16g". The Super 16g isn't even a MHI turbo, it is a cluster fucked Hahn Racecraft turbo. xcm^2 Refers to the TUBINE housing not the compressor housing, you keep getting those back asswards.
"16G-Td05-7CM2" IF you change it to 16G TD05H-7cm^2 is either the big or small 16g.

err. i made a mistake when i typed that. i really ment the turbine housing.

well other then that. i highly recomend againsted the srt-4. as a former owner i've learned a thing or two about the car and i'll let you know why. the engine is great though. everyone says it's it's trash but the stock motor is 450whp capable out the factory. no modificaion needed other then upping the turbo size and adding fuel. the stock ecu is more then capable of handeling all timming curves and a piggy back works great to mod up fuel adjustments. and it does take it reliably. i had 95k miles on my beat the ---- up srt-4. and was able to run 13.5 at lacr on street tires with minor mods.

the stock intercooler is pretty effient too. there are alot of people using the stock intercooler with big turbo aplications. and are able to punch out 400 whp with mildly warm air. it's efficent to about 325 whp worth of air. most person would agree that the srt-4 intercooler is the new starion craze intercooler.

now the bad sides why i didnt like the car.

engine is great. but the chasis isn't. the neon is a heavy weight. there is always traction issues even though it's front heavy. since it is front heavy handleing is compramised. and it's a big turn off. the car does really handle like crap. honestly. it's fast going straight. but damm a simple em1 will run circles around the srt that has lots of suspension mods.

and then comes gas mileage. it doest get any better then 23 miles to the gallon on hwys. there is always a boost leak someplace you'll have to find. and if your moded you'll have to change your way of driving since there is part throthle.

it's almost instaboost. 21psi at 1800 rpms sounds nice but it honestly horrible for daily driving. a big waste of gas.

because of these features it's wasn't my choice of car. i had to get rid of it being ridiculously expesive to insure.

other then that i had a blast with it.

but its really your choice

You are correct on the weight issue...they are heavy pigs. My stock internal b16a with I/H/E and dialed in cam gears (in an 89 hatch) would stay right with stock form srt-4's. I like the fact that the motors can take much more of a beating in stock form, and the tranny's can take even more so than that as long as you change out the clutch.
Gas mileage? What's that? With my heavy foot I've been dealing with shitty gas mileage for years now lol.

i actually don't like the trasnmission. it's a truck transmission ratied for 350 tq. a basic tranny will hold up to pretty much all the power you can possibly throw at it. there are a few 600whp with no problem

only thing is this.. originially it was design for diesel. so shifting and moving HAS to be done at a slower rate. there is now powershifting in these cars. as it's not equiped with proper synchro mesh.

and yes it is possilbe to swap this engine into anotehr chasis. the even more basic neon which happens to be even lighter then your average honda coup.

not lighter then the hatches though. aside all of this thatbasicly it.
