DIY 5.0.

Re: DIY 5.0.
Alright, I'm going off of general MAF theory and not actual EEC-IV/EEC-V knowledge. If the ECU sees the TPS go to the max and does something other than a table lookup I'm ignorant of it - I have an 89 trunk with an A9L in it rotting until I have time/money for it, I have a ---- ton of SBF friends that I diss the local Honduh kids for, and that's about my claim to fame when it comes to Ford.
Somebody shoot me please!

Re: DIY 5.0.
I thought I'd add an update seeing as I almost forgot about this website (I have way to many forums I'm a member of).
I basically got sick of pressurizing the coolant via lifting the head only under boost…so I decided to o-ring the block and replaced the torque to yield bolts with some arp's.
After getting it back together, I apparently routed the clutch cable wrong and fried it on my way to my bro's house 1/2 hour away. Well, that was the beginning of the end for the tranny. I shouldn’t have forced it out of fifth gear after getting onto the exit ramp off the freeway. I also shouldn’t have forced it in a couple of gears to get it out of traffic, and drive the rest of the way without the clutch.
The damage luckily was some worn out syncro's only…and with over 200k on the engine, I guess it was probably about time anyways. Luckily enough no hard parts were damaged and I'm rebuilding it myself.
Anyways, for those of you who haven't sent it yet…this is the only video I have of her…so enjoy!
