eh theres this guy in another thread with a crx that put his intercooler where his battery was, and this charge pipe got way to hot, the air was getting cooled enough...so id atleast mount it further down where it'd get cooler air...ill see what the shop wants to do...either side mount it and no clear bumpers or front mount it in front of or in the radiator

ok here goes...

turbo is all in. its running like a champ. boosting 8psi with no problems. sounds awesome. just runs a little rich which i guess is better than running lean. also one side of my charge piping is warm, the other ice cold. starion intercoolers rock.

however my oil leak is getting worse and worse. it is now to the point where i can no longer drive it. i dont know what to do with it anymore iv taken it out and redone it 3 times and it only gets worse everytime. the next thing im gonna try tonight is to elimate the T on the back of the block completely. im just going to thread the oil return line directly into the block. if i get a CEL for the oil pressure sensor im going to splice the oil feed line in the engine bay (to make it easier to work with) and install a T there for the oil pressure sensor.

almost there.

I love this site, lol. I like seeing all the 4G turbo discussions going on. Lets keep these things running, There's been allot of DSM Accord's biting the dust and it seems to all point to the same thing, poor engine management.

Oh yeah and the damn boost bug that bites everyone, you know, just alittle more boost, a little more won't hurt anything, lol.

I know we don't talk much about chipping the 4G ECU but it can be done and has been done. "JET" made a chip for the 4G and so did Gude I beleive for their cam package so it can be done. The problem is finding an editor with the correct addressing to tune the rom is pretty much impossible. Now if someone knew scripting real good and could write a script for crome or uberdata withthe correct addressing that would rock.

Midnight and R33's idea about going P06/P74/75 for the engine management is going to provide the best results. I hope they share their base maps with everyone.

i can programm pretty good. i know if i could get all the info i could easily write a script. however i have no idea where to find the right memory adresses for the accord ECU. it sucks

haha busted!!!! whatdup brO...

anyways eric..if all else fails wait til you get your uberdata in instead of the SMC and whatever cant be fixed after tuning if you cant fix yourself just take it somewhere to get it checked out...

yes please share your bas emaps and afc settings (if you have on)!

its running ok with the SMC now. but the nasty oil leak is really pissing me off. i need suggestions!!

Take pix of where it's leaking from.

Are you sure you haven't in some way cross threaded the oil fitting there? Maybe it's leaking because of that?

I'm going to get my hands on an F22Ax later to see what I can dig up for you.

In the meantime check the obvious, the rubber O-ring around the oil filter, it may have become screwed up from removing and reinstalling it so much. Sometimes you install a new filter and the o-ring from the old filter remains stuck on the block and that can cause a leak. Most people just use a "T" on that oil pressure sensor with liquid teflon to seal it, make sure everything is tight, make sure your oil pressure sensor is not cracked and leaking threw the plastic.

It's probably something really obvious you just can't see it cause your looking for something complex.

'Sup, guys, I'm new to forum but have been fixing up my '93 Accord for about 3 years now. I have some advice for Accord R33 on his oil leak. Moroso has an oil pan with 5 liters of oil capacity that also comes pretapped for oil lines. Maybe starting over with that will cure the dreaded oil leak.

P.S. Knowledge is power and you guys seem to have lots of both! Awesome info and good luck with your boosted Accord!

woot woot.. accords are taking over HMT i tell ya...

bleh.. have a question...first midnite was gonna use p74 so.. thats how the maps were set up.. then he went to a p06.. so i converted them to p06 using copy/paste.. and now.. hes running a p05 ..


are there any differences between p05-06??

he has to resolder a resistor hopefully that fixes his cel...

anyway.. keep up the updates cant wait till i have my own cb7-T
