Re:The Acclipse (DSM ACCORDS!!)...Trans/Oil Coolers for Turbo Setup
yah its all my fault Adam. i dont think i did that bad of a job considering the only thing i have ever done is change oil before. comming out with just an oil leak isnt to shabby IMO. i rather have that than spend $500 to have a shop do it. not only did I learn a lot but i feel much more accomplished. Its only natural that there are gonna be little bugs here and there. no biggy.

Re:The Acclipse (DSM ACCORDS!!)...Trans/Oil Coolers for Turbo Setup
thanks. its in the shop right now. about half way done.
i hope this solves my problem but i really dont think its going to. ill probably end up taking out the 450 injectors and see if it runs better. i dont know im getting so frustrated and i just want my chipping stuff to get here already so i can ditch this POS smc crap. ugg!

hey JD - I was just thinking...when you use the DSM 450s do you have a resistor box? im pretty sure the accord is peak and hold but would you need one? just trying to think of everything and anything that could be wrong...

Yeah you dont need a resistor box are cars already have a box. Teflon is your freind when it comes to the oil tee . Were you able to drive the car to the shop? How did it do?

Yeah I read that and was thinking of something you could do. You'll have plenty of room to fit one but you would definetly have to take that front signal out for some air flow. Or if you wanted you could take one of the radiator fans out and put it right behind the radiator. You would just have to make sure you get the dsm heatsheild and heatwrap the nearby downpipe. I think that would work better than you doing a sidemount with the stock bumper. Basically replace the fan with the intercooler.

maybe something like this. Could be an option. Not sure how much room the autos have there though.

Re:The Acclipse (DSM ACCORDS!!)...Trans/Oil Coolers for Turbo Setup
I also have a 91 accord/5spd, as well as my beat *** crx. I've seen a bunch of stuff on the f22 turbo setups, so keep posting...this is good stuff. Just outta curiosity, there's some racer out there with a crx also, and he runs a f22 in it, but says he kept the stock d-series tranny. Bizi Ezerioha is his name i think. How hard would it be to do this kinda swap into a crx? I love the low end grunt of my f22, plus the ease of adding that wonderful 14b setup i have laying around in my closet. I would soooo much rather use an f22 to boost than my z6 that's in the rex right now. Also, anyone know anything about chipping a PT3? It's one of my spare 91/manual ecu's layin around.
