so your using a side mount down in the resonator area right? i was thinkin about doin that but im worried about air flow issues...ive thought of taking off my bumper lights so air would be able to get there better, but then i said i should just mount the side mount in front...i dunno, please post pics jd and give me suggestions!!

cuz you have the bw kit, there are holes on the side...im only runnin a lip kit wit stock bumpers still on...

and when you guys are all said and done i need the maps and settings for afc if any of you have it

Yah im using 450s...i tried every setting possible on the AFC to get it not to stall so i dont know whats going on with it. im going to try and unplug the o2 sensor completely today and try it again. i figure no signal from it is better than a wacked out signal.

It should be ok running without the DP. I ran mine w/o the pipe for 2 days before I got mine all hooked up and didnt have any problems. Have you run the dsm injectors before you had the turbo on? Also, did you just put in the afc or did you already have it in? If yes is the answer to both those answers I'd check for a Vac leak. PS. when first starting the car with the oil lines to the turbo just put on unplug the distributer cap and crank it over a couple times to get some oil to that dry turbo. Oh yeah, you had to lenqthen the wires to you O2 sensor right?

Been looking around for the ecu chipping and havent found too much on the 90-92 accords but it seems like the 93 accord (pt3) ecu can be chipped, and the 94-95 accords can definetly be chipped. Anyone tried a 94-95 ecu on their 4th gen? I think it would work the same except for the VTEC. Just a thought. Also does anyone know if the vtec cam from a 95 accord would fit in a 4th gen?

my o2 sensor is still connected to the exhaust in the stock location (right before the flex pipe) BUT there is no downpipe so there is no exhaust flowing past the o2 sensor....do you think this could cause it to stall out?

it could also be the POS SMC im using. i think i wired it right but i could be wrong. what i did was the following:

connected power and ground
cut the Map signal wire in half
i connected the "map in" wire of the SMC to the firewall side of the map signal wire
i then connected the "map out" wire of the SMC to the ECU side of the map signal wire
tapped the RPM wire
and left the green wire hanging.

i dont know..im really hoping that when i get my downpipe made tommorow everything works better. i also have a really nasty oil leak i have to figure out. installation went smooth as hell but gettign it to run is becoming a real hassle. hopefully someone can help

Ahh yes, priming the motor. After a fresh rebuild on a v8, there is a tool to do it for you (fits down the distributor shaft and attaches to your drill). I normally take out the plugs so the motor can crank over much easier without all that compression.
