Re: 3800 v6 Home Made Turbo Project!!!!
lol dude saturday was yesterday, its 1:28 AM here sunday morning i cant be bothered sleeping and i dont have enough light to work on the turbo
well manifolds completed, installed intercooler piping today / tonight and welded up sump, fitting manifolds tommorrow and then she'll get her first taste of boost
ive really gotta modify my inlet manifold to come out on the drivers side so that it can avoid the turbo heat, ill be making a 2-3mm thick aluminium heat shield and wrapping the dump pipe in heat wrap to so i get a bit more performance
here as some pictures from a cruize i went on last night

all i gotta do is remove the old Y peice and bolt on dump pipe, turbo and new peice that joins the headers and connect cooler piping and she'll be done.. but easier said than done might be done by mid day

she wont spool :(
hey, just finishing my turbo install, she revs fine in netural and nearly spools but dosnt, now my dump pipe dosnt have the most clearance from the firewall (gonna rip it off today and make ajustments)
the car shakes like hell but i think thats because of the dump pipe
i think the coil pack grounding may be screwed with...
im gonna rip off the dump pipe and see if it drives and fix up the coil pack grounding, need to modify my dump pipe today anyway
any suggestions

Re: she wont spool :(
Most turbos will not spool in neutral unless you are able to keep the throttle pegged and bouncing off your revlimiter. :P
Check to see if it builds boost under load.
Do you have any pictures of your install?
