Re: Home made action!
hey, well i just ordered new manifolds anyway, the ones i made flow ok, but being a v6 and a big turbo it was hard to fabricate without any exhust leaks, manifolds were cheap anyway it moves the turbo to the front of the engine.... ohwell you cant rip on me for not making my own manifolds.... i wanna see 10s in this car, the new manifolds are steam pipe and look like this

the calais turbo had the rb30et engine. there is only such a thing as an rb30det AFTER some mad ---- has been messing around with the jap 2.5 or 2.6 dohc engine, and the jap/oz 3.0 sohc engine, and merged them creating a monster. no such luck. if commodores had ever had an rb30det, they would have kicked everything, and been more popular.
thats my only whinge.
keep up the good work. the cars looking cool!

yeah, i know its an old thread, but that is a huge inaccuracy, and i felt the need to correct it. if someone reads through to the end, they'll see the truth now. whereas before it was ------ing lies and ignorance further around the world creating more noob problems that i know you lot soooo enjoy :-)
