well, i think steve has the upper hand on this one currently... i don't even have most of the parts i'm going to need yet! i haven't even looked at the car since august... see my other thread about having a new customer keeping my industrial work busy.

 

i know this is kind of old now, but be very careful about relocating the steering rack. have you ever heard of bumpsteer?

 

he is not knowledgable about these things and has never heard of such a thing as bump steer. Inform him please.

 

i'm not too concerned as it should be easy to solve, just add a spacer between the end of the steering rod end where it mounts to the spindle. i haven't fully looked into it though since i'm not that far yet. thanks for the heads up.
